The Rio Finance Meeting 2024 took place at FGV EBAPE on December 6, 2024. During this one-day conference around 25 finance researchers from the Rio area met to discuss topics like political influence on bank lending, access to credit, IPOs, incentive loan contracts and credit lotteries. The conference featured nine paper presentations, comments from discussants, and two development workshops. The organizers Lars Norden (FGV EBAPE), Layla Mendes (FGV EPGE) and Rodrigo Leite (COPPEAD/UFRJ) thank CAPES, FGV EBAPE, and the CBFR in Rio for support.
